About
I am a PhD candidate in Environmental Economics at the University of Delaware. My research examines how climate change affects agriculture, food security, production, and economic outcomes.
I combine applied econometrics with climate-model output, satellite observations, process-based crop models, and large geospatial datasets. Across this work, I focus on transparent measurement, model validation, and policy-relevant interpretation.
Featured dissertation research
Hybrid modeling for improved crop yield estimation
My first dissertation chapter combines an empirical fixed-effects yield model with process-based crop models for maize, rice, and wheat. The constrained ensemble is evaluated with leave-one-region-out validation and applied to yield projections under SSP scenarios.
